There's a reason why all my friends have banned me from ever using the word "coupon"� again. A reason which I believe stems directly from my enthusiasm, loyalty and dedication to the Campus Special. Not only am I now a self-proclaimed "coupon connoisseur,"� but I have gained the skills that I know will lead to my success in the future. Daily meetings with various business owners and constant interactions with new people has increased my communica...tion skills and confidence in my ability to get my point across. Racing around town to catch owners and make sales provides evidence that I have the persistence, work ethic and ability to do what it takes in order to succeed. And conducting business deals and handling client relationships has taught me how to deal with people in a professional manner. These are all things that I am sure to mention in job interviews and things that continue to impress those that I speak to. Not only has the Campus Special and working as an Account Executive helped me to reach a level of experience few can claim in college and stand out anywhere as a job applicant, but I have also gained an awareness of the working world that I will need to start my career after college, especially in an economic downturn. Taking advantage of the opportunity I was given and working harder for one summer than I ever have in my entire life, was by far the best decision I could have made for myself. Not only do I get to use and hold on to the product I spent all summer making, but I get to watch other students use and enjoy it as well. The Campus Special helped me get to where I am today. Shortly after graduating from Florida State University I was offered a job with a Fortune 500 company, that is a top competitor in their industry. Interning with campus special over the past summer taught me how to better organize, prioritize and better manage my time. I also learned the value of working hard competitor perfecting something that challenges you. I by no means found myself t...o be a "natural" in sales (contrary to what I believed) and finding the courage every day to turn the negative into positives has helped better prepare me for the position I am in today. The job market is much tougher than it has been in the past and I found that 99% of the answers I gave in interviews were about my internship with the campus special. Having the opportunity to work for The Campus Special managers this summer was one that I'm very grateful to have been offered. Working as an account executive has given me more confidence, better communication skills, and a better understanding of sales overall. Coming into my summer internship with The Campus Special I had no idea what to expect. After attending the training conference in Chicago, I was eager and nervous at the same time. The best decision I have ever made in my college career was to be an intern for The Campus Special. Prior to attending the training conference in Chicago, I was scared, anxious, excited and nervous! In the past I had never felt confident with public speaking and knew upon entering college that I needed an internship that would build my confidence. The Campus Special internship has absolutely transformed me into new person. I never thought that I ...was the "selling"� type, but upon completion of this internship I knew I could sell anything to anybody! I enjoyed this internship because I sold a product that I truly believed in, had a wonderful manager that was there to guide me every step of the way, and was constantly challenged. I had no experience in sales before, but from reading all of the amazing testimonials I knew this was an unbelievable opportunity that I couldn't afford to pass up. I was out at night and bumped into an owner of one store I attempted to sell to this summer. During my sales call, he didn't buy from me. However, this second time we met he shook my hand and pulled out his cell phone, telling me he had saved my phone number t...his summer because he was so impressed by my selling skills.
